Day One
Gastown
Whether you had a long flight or a lengthy car ride, you’re going to want to stretch your legs and walk a little. Start your trip by exploring the Gastown area. It has a unique history, fantastic food, and delicious booze. The cobblestone stone streets and historic architecture create a charming environment that makes you forget you’re in a bustling metropolis. Check out the famous Gastown Steam Clock and the Statue of the area’s founder “Gassy” Jack. If you’re hungry, eat at The Flying Pig, anything you order there is guaranteed to be amazing. If you’d rather drink your calories, get a handcrafted cocktail at The Diamond. For more information on exploring Gastown click here.
Attend a Vancouver Canucks Game
No trip to Canada is complete without attending a hockey game. Even if you know nothing about hockey, it is worth experiencing Canada’s national sport in person.
Day Two
Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
The Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver, Canada is the longest suspension bridge in the world spanning 430ft across a tree-lined canyon and suspended 230ft above a raging blue river. The bridge isn’t the only attraction in the park so make sure to check out the Treetop Adventure and the Cliff Walk as well. Day Three
Granville Island Public Market
Hopefully, you built up an appetite with all that walking you did yesterday. Today’s dedicated to gaining back those lost calories and there is no better place in Vancouver to do that than Granville Island Public Market. Donuts, croissants, perogies, brownies, sushi, pizza; there are endless varieties of food for you to try here. Want to know the best food we had here? Click here for our favorites.
Liberty Distillery
With a full tummy, it is now time to get your drink on in a classy fashion. Walk over from the market to Liberty Distillery offering Vancouver’s first hand-crafted, premium spirits made from only 100% British Columbia organic grain.
Day Four
Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge
If your not in a food coma after yesterday, its time to get back after it today. Throw on some sneakers, we are hiking Lynn canyon today. Lynn Canyon Suspension bridge is known as the free alternative to the Capilano bridge but it isn’t the only attraction at Lynn Canyon Park. There are plenty of hiking trails to explore once you cross the canyon. Each trail is almost guaranteed to lead to a waterfall, lake, or stream. It may require some backtracking on trails to see all the popular attractions in one visit but none of the trails are too strenuous. For the Lynn Canyon Trail Guide click here

Chad can be summed up by his idea of a perfect day: Waking up early to watch the sunrise over the mountains, warm cup of coffee in hand then grabbing his camera and fly rod, hitting the trail to explore some uncharted territory followed by cold beers and campfire steaks. Chad is often joined on his adventures by his wife, Tori, and their dog, Kona.
